  • Shahid Afridi's late burst on the fourth day added one more twist to an already fascinating Test. It was manic, it was raw, it was his first score over fifty away from home in nearly six years. His last substantial score was 141 against India in Chennai in 1998-99, a Test that Pakistan won.

  • Hamilton first, and now Kolkata. Rahul Dravid became only the second Indian to hit two hundreds in the same Test on two or more occasions. He joins seven batsmen with two hundreds on two instances but falls short of Sunil Gavaskar, who did it three times.

  • The 5th wicket partnership of 163 runs is now India's best against Pakistan at Kolkata. It bettered the 88-run stand between Sandeep Patil and Yashpal Sharma in 1979-80.
