Sri Lanka made it two wins out of two with a thumping eight-wicket win against Bangladesh. S K Karunanayake picked up four wickets as Bangladesh stumbled to 175 all out in 46.5 overs despite, after 26 overs, being 114 for 1. Iqbal Khan top-scored with 42. Sri Lanka cantered home with nearly overs to spare thanks to 78 from the opener D Karunaratne and a first-wicket stand of 76 with Samera Soysa.

India were equally comprehensive with their victory over South Africa by 102 runs. A sixth wicket stand of 129 between Debabrata Das (66 not out) and Piyush Chawla (54) turned the Indian innings around after they had struggled to 108 for 5 in the 28th over. South Africa failed to produce such a dominant partnership, losing wickets at regular intervals. Chawla continued his outstanding match by take three wickets and at 104 for 8 a humiliation was on the cards. CJ van der Schyff's 40-ball 53 at least saved some face, although the margin of defeat still doesn't make pleasant reading.

It doesn't matter which age group Zimbabwe side takes the field, the results continue to be dire. The President's XI has been routed in the Indian domestic tournament, the Under-23s crushed in South Africa and now the Under-19s have been humbled here by Pakistan. A woeful batting performance - with K Samunderu top-scoring with 31 - left Pakistan the meagre target of 119. Zimbabwe had no answer to Haseeb Amjad, who tore through the middle order with 5 for 15. The Pakistan batsmen then wasted little time knocking off the runs as M Faheem notched an unbeaten 68 off 87 balls.
