Most memorable moments: Ranji Trophy victory by Haryana World Cup victory in 1983 Tied Test at Madras 400th Test wicket 431st test wicket at Bangalore
Best Captain I have played under: Krish Srikkanth - He had good leadership ideas and qualities was maturing when he was removed. He deserved more chances as a captain. He was very friendly with everybody and one of the few cricketers ever willing to help others. It won't be fair to talk about Azhar since we are still playing. But I must say that he is improving with every match.
Comparison of Hadlee, Imran and Marshall: I don't like comparisons honestly but I would admit that all three was out- standing. Marshall was more dangerous because of speed. Imran could destroy any batsman on his day and he was a delightful ath- lete. But Hadlee was the best of all. He was perfect. He had a computerised action, his arm was so straight. I wish I could adapt like him, but it is too late for me to change my action.
My best Indian Team: Sunil Gavaskar and Navjot Sidhu as openers. Sachin Tendulkar at number three. Middle order from Viswanath, Vengsarkar, Azharuddin and Mohinder Amarnath. My wicket-keeper will be Syed Kirmani. I will choose my medium- pacers from Srinath, Prabhakar, Ghavri and Chetan Sharma. The spinners in my team will be Prasanna and Bedi.
