16 Nov 1995 Western Province Cricket signs Paul Adams

Western Province Cricket Chief Executive Officer, Arthur Turner, announced this afternoon that spin sensation, Paul Adams, had signed a three-year contract to play for MTN Western Province.

Mr Turner stated that MTN Western Province was thrilled to have a young cricketer of his calibre in the fold of the Association.

He also stated that Paul Adams would add a new dimension to the MTN Western Province attack, especially in the Castle Cup competition.

Mr Turner paid tribute to the Superjuice Academy under the leadership of Eddie Barlow for unearthing this exciting new talent. He added that the Academy was directing MTN Western Province in a new and exciting era.
