Headley in doubt for final Test
The Electronic Telegraph
Dean Headley, the England pace bowler, is nursing a shoulder injury which looks almost certain to rule him out of next week's final Test against New Zealand at the Oval.
Kent coach John Wright confirmed: "Dean has damaged his right shoulder and won't be available for a week to 10 days."
Wasim Raja, the former Test batsman who played in three World Cups, is the new Pakistan coach.
Leg-Spinner Shane Warne has been sacked as captain of Victoria's Sheffield Shield team for next season because Australia's 1999-2000 international programme will restrict him to one Shield game and three domestic limited-overs matches.
Don Mosey, the journalist and broadcaster, died yesterday aged 74. He was for many years part of BBC Radio's Test Match Special commentary team.
