Lee 12th man as Kasprowicz gets the nod

The Australian selectors have chosen experience over youth with Queensland paceman Michael Kasprowicz preferred to NSW's emerging speedster Brett Lee for the third Ansett Test match against Pakistan in Perth.
Kasprowicz, a reliable 14-Test veteran who last played for the national side in the first Ansett Australia Test against England at the Gabba last November, has taken 485 wickets in 132 first-class matches. Lee, who will carry the drinks at the WACA, on the other hand has played only 12 first-class matches.
Kasprowicz and Lee were called into the side to replace pace bowler Scott Muller, who was dropped after two Tests, while 12th man in Hobart, Colin Miller, was also overlooked on the fast and bouncy WACA wicket.
Australia has already clinched the three-match series 2-0 after a 10-wicket victory in Brisbane and their remarkable four-wicket triumph in Hobart.
AUSTRALIA: Greg Blewett, Adam Gilchrist, Damien Fleming, Michael Kasprowicz, Justin Langer, Glenn McGrath, Ricky Ponting, Michael Slater, Shane Warne, Mark Waugh, Steve Waugh (c), Brett Lee (12th man).
