Geoff Marsh returns to Perth tomorrow after his three and a half year stint as
Australian cricket coach.
The father of three resigned as Australia coach in August to spend more time
with his family, but has since joined the Australian selection panel.
He returns on a disappointing note with Australia losing their first-ever Test
series to Sri Lanka 1-nil.
His former Australian team-mate Allan Border has replaced him as interim coach
for Australia's tour of Zimbabwe which begins with a tour match at Bulawayo on
Friday.
Marsh rates the June World Cup triumph in England as the highlight of his
coaching career, along with Test series wins in Pakistan last October and South
Africa in 1997.
