  • The partnership was also the third highest for England in all ODIs after 193 run pertnership between Graham Gooch and Bill Athey against New Zealand at Manchester on 18-07-1986 and 185 run stand between Graham Gooch and Wayne Larkins against Australia at Hyderabad (India) at 19-10-1989.

  • The partnership was also the second highest against West Indies for the opening wicket after the 176 run stand between Ajay Jadeja and Ravi Shastri for India at Cuttack on 09-11-1994.

  • The wicket of Jimmy Adams was the 50th for Alan Mullally in his 38th match. He became the 10th Englishman and 121st bowler in all ODIs to do so.
