England havent turned into a bad side just because they got stuck on a really difficult pitch on the fourth day. Jagging it sideways at over 90 kph would paralize any side including Pakistan. Added to that the elephant remains very firmly in the room with only the Pakistani bowlers benefitting from a poiltical fiddling of the rules that allow their spinners to use a throwing action which adds to their effectiveness significantly. Any idiiot can play from the commentary box. Be prepared for Pakistan to return to normal losing mode when not playing on doctored pitches and particularly if they are ever required to play the game within the laws.
Posted by Trickstar on (February 1, 2012, 21:17 GMT)I find the treatment of KP by the British media is absolutely appalling and frankly embarrassing and for some reason in British sport if your a bit confident and cocky, the press don't like it and feel like they have to bring them down anyway they can, what a set of mugs and what's worse some of these are from well respected cricket press, who should know better. The line that they trott out that he's not liked and it's a fact but they've got zero evidence of it, is nothing more than a load of rubbish and tbh a witch hunt. I always remember after the 2005 Ashes when he was the toast of the town and I read a article by a former player and it's turned out 100% correct, he said that the first time KP ran into a run of bad form, the press would turn on him and a lot of the fans too, he said they'd do it because first and foremost he's South African and secondly because he's big and brash and that doesn't sit well with the English, they prefer salt of the earth, modest types, boring tbh.
