Excellent analysis and Review by Manjrekar...Once I was a great fan of Sachin like others but after analyzing his long career about past 6-7 years, I feel he is more hungry for runs...for his own runs which contributed to India's score but some times these runs affected the run rate also and India couldn't post an expected runs on the board. Once he completes his century, he becomes so happy that he couldn't concentrate to continue for a big score in Test, that is why he couldn't score many double century and not even once 250+ score. I feel his centuries are most of the time doesn't help India to win the match. Recent match is an excellent example of this. Well, as nobody can convince him to retire, it is only Sachin who can decide when can he be retired. Great love for the game but not up to that level for team and for nation. He will play many more least test cricket.
