A very insightful look at the state of cricket. Bellerive Oval is middle of suburbia was my observation when I visited last year. Further transport options were minimal to non existant. I agree with your summation of BBL timing absolutely wrong. It should be stand alone status in January. However tell that the marketing organisation running cricket.
