If you look closely, that's what Jadeja also does. In no way I'm suggesting that Jadeja is as good as Kumble, right now Jadeja is not even 1% of what Kumble was. But, Jadeja has variations in speeds, arm balls and turners, and still holds on to his line and length with accuracy. And these are the most important things for a spinner

It was a great spell indeed.. but in my opinion no means the best, I mean even statistically. Kapil took 8/106 at Adelaide in 1985-86. That too was on a flat wicket and last 5 of Australian wickets fell for mere 8 runs. Kapil himself took 5 wickets in 21 balls. While Kumble's effort was more of perseverence, Kapil bowled great exhibition of swing bowling on a flat wicket. Also Dravid is talking from what I feel the best he had seen and not best ever, so it is a good idea to mention other great performances too.
