SC131159, I'm afraid that you're completely misinformed. The pitches that they've just played on aren't really anything different from those produced since at least the Indian tour of NZ in 09. Certainly the pitches didn't seam about in the 1st session as everyone was hoping, but the matter of the fact is that the 1st two tests would've produced a result if not for the days lost to rain. So if you were honest with yourself, you'd say that you're just sour about the fact that your England team is not as good as they're hyped up to be. There was no conspiracy to aim for a draw, as it's not like England are some invincible super team. In fact I'm going down to the TAB tomorrow and putting a substantial sum of money on Australia to win the Ashes

NZ prepared flat pitches to nullify England attack, aiming for a drawn series which would've been a positive outcome for an eighth ranked team. In the end it backfired on them massively. NZ played exciting cricket under McCullum and if the pitch deteriorated even slightly they would've won the 3rd test.
