no mention of haddin who rescued australia in every match with his batting otherwise jhonson wont have much of a target to defend... hopefully he will not be overlooked for man of series award...

If there is a physical threat, what does it imply when the threat is carried out, as eventually it will be? The spectators' thrill described indicates they believe that threat can become pain or injury. I played before there were helmets and as an opener faced fast bowlers several of whom were angry and aggressive and thought the head was the best place to aim. I just didn't expect to get hit and didn't. But I doubt whether these bowlers were anywhere near the speed of Johnson. I propose there is a down side to spectacular and admirable performances like Johnson's if there is a lot more than pain to think about. I don't think the public is receiving enough information about the risks and possible outcomes that may give them mixed feelings and regrets.

Absolutely fantastic come back for a bowles who had been dropped from the side. What a firing spels by Jhonson in this ashes that ruined England's dream.
