1.10 pm local time: Right, the Australians are out in the middle, ready to have another crack at India. Ponting had a word with his team before they came out. Dravid and Laxman have the responsibility of seeing off the new ball once again after Jaffer fell in the first over. The weather's pretty clear at the moment, let's hope it stays that way.

Lee's pumped up and is charging in from over the wicket at Dravid. He's got a heavily populated slip cordon and a couple at gully as well.

12.30 pm: Cheers Jenny. Hello everybody, we're approaching the business end of this Test and it promises to be riveting. Jaffer's wicket during a two-over period that India had to face before lunch would have had remarkably contrasting effects on the dressing rooms. Jaffer's been unable to cope in the two Tests so far and rest assured India's opening combination will be a talking point ahead of the third Test in Perth.

Back to the contest at hand, though, and with Yuvraj and Dhoni also in poor form Australia will throw everything at India's big four - Dravid, Laxman, Tendulkar and Ganguly - to try and dislodge them. The pitch remains decent for batting by fifth day standards but there will be assistance for Brad Hogg and the odd ball could keep low.

The SCG isn't full yet so you could still catch two sessions of exciting cricket. But take your mobile with you and click here to get Cricinfo's commentary on it.

Tea, 3.10 pm local time: India have lost two big wickets in that session, those of Laxman and Tendulkar. Australia have 46 overs in the final session to try and pick up seven more wickets but they'll have to improve their over-rate significantly if they want to get all those overs in. Stuart Clark has been their best bowler and Hogg's also caused problems on the fifth day pitch. Jenny Thompson will be your commentator for the first hour after tea.

3.20pm Thanks, George. Hello again troops, so is it game on, or is it draw on? Don't answer that. I suspect we know. While we're waiting for play to get back underway at the SCG, I've just flicked on to coverage of beach cricket in Perth where Australia are taking on New Zealand. Happy to report that England won their game against Australia yesterday, Graeme Hick smashing four sixes in a row off DK Lillee.
