It's just short of a length and Mathews clears the front leg looking for a mighty heave over the leg side. Pitches it right up and Taylor falls for it to come forward, pays the price for playing away from the body. The umpire took long enough to raise his finger, after the bowler appeals a couple of times. 27.1 to DJS Dottin, the party is over. When you're playing so well by hitting it down the ground, why would've you want to go for an ugly reverse paddle? This ball drifts back in a long way from around the stumps, looks like Dottin first wanted to paddle before going the other way. By then it was too late. 24.3 to Kycia A Knight, as plumb as it can get. Looks to sweep a full delivery, gets into an awkward tangle and this would've hit the middle of middle stump. Why would you want to play around the front pad when all you can do is just bunt it into the gap in the off side? Anyway, she can have all the time she wants to ponder the dismissal. 4.6 to GWHM Perera, she kept teasing her with flight and has finally been rewarded for her persistence. Perera was lured to drive as this was generously tossed up outside off, but the ball spun away late to take a thin edge. Excellent catch by Aguilleira, who also nipped the bails off just in case the umpire thought there was no edge. Made the mistake for playing inside the line of the delivery.. 22/1 | ||||||||||

24.1 to AMCJK Athapaththu, gets down for a slog sweep and what has happened here? Oh, dear, Atapattu has walked out of the crease. It was the wrong choice of shot as she had to fetch it from outside off, ends up losing some balance and the backfoot slides out of the crease. Aguilleira capitalises and whips the bails off in a flash. 84/3 24.2 to MADD Surangika, two in two for Anisa Mohammed. Sri Lanka now have to be careful. A period of calm followed by twin strikes and it doesn't take toomany of these moments for panic to set in. Length ball, spinning in and gets slightly big on the batsman, misses the inside edge as she looks for a tuck and hits her on the pad. Seems to have hit her quite high due to the bounce. The umpire raises his finger, and Surangika is slightly unhappy. Did she, too,think it was high?. 84/4 26.3 to HASD Siriwardene, another horrible bit of shot selection. Gets down for the almighty slog when there is no room to be freeing her arms. 47.2 to KDU Prabodhani, deceived in flight. Looked to swing this across the line over long-on but wasn't to the pitch of the ball, swung too early and so missed it completely. Aguilleira didn't look like missing that stumping. Rode the bounce, collected it cleanly and whipped the bails off in a jiffy. 180/9 47.6 to I Ranaweera, that's the end of that. First win of the competition for West Indies. This one was nicely tossed up outside off, it drifted in a long way to sneak through the big gap between bat and pad as she played outside the line.
