A tall, right-arm medium fast bowler, Ollie Freckingham joined the Leicestershire staff for 2013 at the age of 24 after a number of impressive performances for the Second XI and for Loughborough Town in league cricket. Born in Oakham, he has been monitored by the county from U-10 level upwards and took 5 for 86 on his Second XI debut against a strong Durham Second XI in July 2010. He has taken 32 wickets in 13 Second XI matches and was Loughborough's leading wicket-taker in 2012 with 42 victims.
