GC Wilson c Shantry b Leach 12 (15m 13b 1x4 0x6) SR: 92.30

A glimmer for Worcestershire? Surrey made a meal of chasing less than this against Middlesex a week or so ago... Here's Rory Burns, though the batsmen had crossed

Leach to Pietersen, OUT, slightly short, pulled... straight to mid-on! Now KP gives it away, Surrey are four down and doing their best to make a Horlicks of things... Leach gets his second wicket, wasn't quite there for the shot and spliced to the fielder

KP Pietersen c Kohler-Cadmore b Leach 29 (33m 27b 5x4 0x6) SR: 107.40

Out comes Azhar Mahmood

Down to brass tacks now, Surrey only need nine, three wickets still standing... Choudhry backon

I think Batty is being told to calm down by the umpires... Sounds about right

Up comes the field, just a couple needed to win

Choudhry to Peterson, FOUR, tossed up, bit of a heave from Peterson and the ball disappears through mid-off, no one there, wins it with a four - Surrey win by three wickets and will go to Finals Day for the second year running

5.20pm: Well, it wasn't pretty, by any means, but Surrey dug themselves out of a hole of their own making to reach the last four of the Blast. Jason Roy got them well ahead with that 20-ball half-century and Robin Peterson kept cool at the end... It's tough on Worcestershire, who have still never got further than the quarter-finals, but their total never looked like being enough. All of Surrey's bowlers chipped in, only Richard Oliver and Joe Leach made it to 20 for Worcestershire; big city trumps small town again. With that dynamic in mind, Birmingham are the outsiders travelling to Chelmsford for the evening fixture, with the toss about to take place - join Gnasher for full commentary starting shortly.
