Leeward Islands captain Runako Morton was stranded on 96 as Guyana needed only 35 minutes to dismiss Leewards and seal victory by an innings and 29 runs. Leewards were dismissed for 182 in their second innings after resuming on 160 for 8.
Offspinner Zaheer Mohammed took the last two wickets to finish with 4 for 40 to go with his first-innings haul of 4 for 49, while fast bowler Trevon Garraway took 3 for 56 and Esuan Crandon chipped in with 2 for 54.
Brent Defreitas scored just one before he was out with the score on 162. Anthony Martin partnered Morton in a 20-run stand in an effort to see him to his century but was bowled for 4, leaving Morton stranded. He had batted 222 minutes and faced 126 balls for his 96.
The foundation for Guyana's victory had been laid on the third day when Garraway's opening spell reduced Leewards to 51 for 4. Sarwan had also converted his overnight score of 89 to 150 to help gain a lead of 211, a performance for which he was adjudged Man of the Match.
