90.1 to KD Karthik, Sangwan strikes with the first ball on the second day. The middle and off stumps are floored. Good length and angling away in the channel outside off, DK's foot does not meet the pitch of the ball. He lazily reaches out with his hands and seeks to force it away through the covers on a surface where the ball isn't really coming on. He can only drag it onto the stumps off a thick inside edge. Encouraging start for India Red. 362/4

66.3 to RG Sharma, That's an impatient shot, and Rohit is gone. He wants to go over the top for the second time in two overs v Mishra and holes out to his India team-mate Dhawan. Tossed-up legbreak outside off, good length, Rohit has a big swipe against the turn and only manages a top edge. Dhawan settles under the skier at cover. 242/3
149.5 to SP Jackson, Mishra dives forward and hangs onto a low return catch! Tossed up slower on middle, Jackson leans forward to drive, but the ball stops on him. He checks his stroke and softly lobs it back to the bowler. 605/5

37.1 to MA Agarwal, Binny returns and takes down his Karnataka team-mate. Was that a clean catch from Dhawan? He seems confident and does a jig. The soft signal is out. They go to the TV umpire Nandan for a confirmation. Good length, tight line on the off stump. It stuck in the surface and stopped at Agarwal. He goes through with the drive and ends up chipping a catch to short extra cover. Dhawan bends forward and pouches a low catch, inches from the ground. Well done, India Red finally find a way past this opening pair. Cross-seamer from Binny produces the breakthrough. 144/1

48.1 to G Gambhir, chopped on. Gambhir perishes six short of a ton. That was spinning away from the left-hander. Gambhir looks to cut it away but it is too full to cut and he gets a healthy inside edge. He's livid with himself. So Gambhir's wait for a first-class century continues, hasn't scored one since December 2014. 178/2

168.2 to RA Jadeja, Abhinav celebrates his wicket. Don't openers just love their wickets? Legbreak, comes in from outside off, Jadeja plays back and looks to steer it through point. Ends up chopping an inside edge onto the stumps. 693/6

0.2 to A Mukund, cuts in, shoots low and pins him bang in front. Nice and full on middle, Abhinav is neither forward nor back, then belatedly stoops low and pinged on the pad. That's plumb. The finger went up almost instantly. 2/1
0.3 to SD Chatterjee, and he strikes again! This is a cracking delivery, and Pankaj lets out a big roar. good length and seams back into the left-hander, Sudip is late onto the push. Pankaj bursts through the gate and hits the top of middle. 2/2
2157603.6110011300

90.5 to A Mishra, there's the wicket, and it's the frustration of being unable to put away the three previous deliveries that have contributed, I must say. Karn Sharma saw him coming out and tossed it up well outside off, Mishra looks to fetch the slog from way outside off and hit it across the line, only managed to skew it high up in the air for long-off to take a dolly. End of a solid knock nevertheless. 319/8
98.1 to Kuldeep Yadav, edged to slip! Karn wraps it up. India Red have been bowled out for 356. Gambhir rushes off, gesturing India Blue are going to bat again Sliding across the left-hander from over the wicket, he prods a catch to Gambhir. 356/10
10101.0050000

18.3 to Yuvraj Singh, superb reflexes from Cheteshwar Pujara. A moment's indecision has consumed Yuvraj. It wasn't all that short for the cut, but Yuvraj still went through, only to chop it to a diving Pujara as the ball bobbed out in the first attempt. But he held his composure, recovered quickly by thrusting himself forward to take it on the second attempt. A man with wonky knees, but his reflexes were spot on there. 44/3
3499552.7916417000
21.2 to S Dhawan, the umpires are checking to see if the catch is clean, and it is. Dhawan tried to play a reverse sweep, but Jadeja, anticipating the move perhaps, bowls it into middle and leg. The batsman was through with the stroke, as the ball lobbed off the glove to short leg to Mayank Agarwal who dived low to his left to pull off a stunner. The soft signal was out, and there wasn't much evidence going by the replays to change that. The only point of consideration was if it struck him on the fore-arm, but replays suggest there was definitely some glove there.. 67/4
47.1 to Gurkeerat Singh, this is a ripper from Jadeja! This was coming at some stage. This one drifts in from wide of the crease, grips the surface and rips away to square Gurkeerat up completely. Once he missed it, that was headed just one way. A mili-second after he missed it, came the death rattle as the ball fizzed across to hit off stump. Jadeja gallops away in celebration!. 130/5
63.3 to AK Bains, Rohit dives to his right and snaps up a sharp, low one-handed catch at second slip. Looped up teasingly outside off, dips, creating some distance between the bat and the pitch. Bains has an uncertain little waft and nicks it behind. Rohit plucks it inches from the ground. 194/6
71.2 to STR Binny, beaten by one that drifts in and straightens, so Binny won't get to his first first-class century since February 2014. This one pitched marginally on leg stump before turning square to strike Binny on the pads. There was a big, big appeal as umpire Anil Chaudhary took his time before raising his finger. Binny stayed put for a good 20 seconds or so in disbelief before making the slow walk back. Thrill-a-minute ride while it lasted. 233/7
93.5 to PJ Sangwan, that's the fifth for Jadeja, and he's got it with a slider. This one skid back in from around the stumps, Sangwan played all around that and was struck on the back pad. Was it going down leg? It may have, but then again the ball didn't have to travel much as the impact was deep inside the crease.. 336/9

17.2 to G Gambhir, shout for leg before and given. Gambhir not happy with the decision and has a word with the umpire. Coming to the delivery itself, it was nicely tossed up on middle and leg and Gambhir is drawn forward. He misses the front foot defence and the ball spins away to hit him right in front of the stumps. Gambhir had been troubled by Kuldeep throughout and now perishs to him. 67/1
29.6 to MA Agarwal, this time Nathu Singh makes no mistake at deep midwicket. Agarwal tried to hit him with the spin into the stands at deep midwicket, but didn't quite get to the pitch of the ball, ended up dragging it a touch as well. Nathu, ran in early and ran to his left to complete the catch on the move. Boy, is he delighted or what? Got a few glares from the captain when he misfielded earlier in the over, hugs all around now. End of a promising knock from Agarwal. 108/2
41.3 to SP Jackson, One shot too many. Kuldeep gave it too much flight and bowls a full toss, Jackson advances down the track and looks to heave it but doesn't get it off the middle of the bat. The ball lobs towards mid-off who takes astraightforward catch. 162/5

32.2 to KD Karthik, DK steps out to go over cover, but he fails to get to the pitch of the ball, missed it altogether as Bains effected a straightforward stumping. Mishra saw him advancing and shortened his length a wee bit, but there was appreciable turn to beat Karthik's swing. Very poor from an experienced player.. 126/3

15.3 to SD Chatterjee, oh, no. It's flighted again, outside off, and Chatterjee goes for the slog-sweep. He's a little too early on the shot, and ends up top-edging a simple high catch to mid-off. 43/1
25.3 to Yuvraj Singh, holes out to deep midwicket. It was flat and on a length, probably just not full enough for the sweep. Yuvraj gets down to sweep and gets a top-edge on it as the ball lobs towards the man at deep midwicket. 95/3
27.4 to STR Binny, ill-advised sweep. Good length ball heading towards middle and leg, straightens a tad after landing, Binny goes down to sweep but he was always going to be cramped attempting that shot to this line, gets hit on the pad and the umpire takes little time to raise his finger. 98/4
31.3 to A Mishra, edged and taken. Almost every ball seems to be doing something now. This one had everything - flight, turn and bounce. Bowls it on a length and draws Mishra forward as he looks to defend, gets a healthy outside edge that lobs to first slip where Cheteshwar Pujara takes a straightforward catch. 113/6
44.1 to NB Singh, is that it? Five-for in the innings, ten-for in the match. Stump-to-stump, didn't turn as much as Nathu expected as he pressed forward to defend, and it beats the inside edge to hit front pad. Might be missing leg stump, but not by much, and by my reckoning would have been 'umpire's call' had DRS been in use. The umpire gives it out, and that's the end of the game too. Mukund won't be batting.. 161/9
1013113.10491300
16.3 to S Dhawan, whatacatch, Cheteshwar! Excellent delivery again, Rasool getting this to spin sharply again. Dhawan comes forward to defend outside off, and edges to the left of slip, and Pujara dives and takes a super low one-handed catch.. 43/2
923333.66451400
28.4 to Gurkeerat Singh, takes the bails off in a flash. Bowls a flat delivery outside off, Gurkeerat commits to the front foot early and looks for an inside-out drive. But the ball doesn't turn much and his backfoot comes out of the crease as he tries the stroke. Karthik whips the bails off in a flash. They go upstairs and the third umpire looks at two different angles. Gurkeerat tries to get his foot back down but the bails are clipped off just before it lands. 106/5
39.2 to AK Bains, smartly done. That was a brilliant delivery. Tosses it up outside off and entices the batsman to go a big heave. The batsman falls to the trap and comes down as he looks to go inside-out. It hit the rough and turned and bounced more than he expects. Gets an outside edge that is held by the wicketkeeper. 138/7
39.3 to PJ Sangwan, and another! Strange dismissal, Sangwan looks to push into the covers off the back foot. The legbreak is short enough for that, but it keeps a little low, and there isn't much footwork either. Hits the inside edge of his angled bat and deflects into the stumps. 138/8
