Alistair Dalton was one of Glamorgan`s reserve batsmen. Born in Bridgend in 1973, the right handed batsman was educated at Millfield School and made his Minor County debut for Wales in 1992.He made his first-class debut for Glamorgan in 1994, during which he hit a maiden first-class half century against the touring South Africans at Pontypridd. Despite nearly scoring 1,000 runs in second team cricket in 1996, Dalton was released from the county`s staff at the end of the 1996 season.
