A strong 2007-08 helped Arron Crawford force his way into a full Western Australia contract after he spent a summer without the rookie deal he had held for two seasons. A left-arm fast-medium bowler, Crawford collected 23 wickets at 27.61 for his grade side Midland-Guildford last season and was also the leading bowler for the Western Australia Second XI in the Cricket Australia Cup. Away from the game, he has worked as a diesel mechanic in his family business.
