Tremlett to Kumar, no run, oooh, Tremlett almost had another here. Kumar didn't fancy it at all. Stood still and limply waved his bat outside off as the ball climbed past

India 241/7   P Kumar 0* (1b)

Anderson to Kumar, FOUR, haha, oh dear. Kumar wonders what all the fuss is about. Stand still, eases his hands through the ball and sends it over mid-off for four. Simple

Anderson to Kumar, 4 leg byes, runs flowing! Anderson slams it short and down the leg side, thuds off the pads and runs away for four. Ideal for India

Anderson to Kumar, no run, much, much better bouncer and Kumar didn't look very comfortable at all. Reared up and skimmed the grill on his helmet as he lurched out the way

India 254/7   P Kumar 4* (4b 1x4)

Tremlett to Kumar, 3 runs, Kumar has taken it upon himself to swish India past the follow on! Backs away and slaps a length ball, without much timing over mid-off

Tremlett to Kumar, 1 run, Tremlett was half-way through to celebrating as he saw this yorker homing in on middle but Kumar, backing away, managed to inside edge a hack to fine leg. Great entertainment

India 260/7   P Kumar 8* (6b 1x4)

Anderson to Kumar, no run, enjoyable this. After a long mid-innings chat between overs, Kumar has a huge whoosh outside off stump. Misses too and Dravid despairs

Anderson to Kumar, 2 runs, Dravid can only smile as Kumar wanders outside leg stump and heaves this, without any timing, over deepish mid-on for another couple

Anderson to Kumar, 1 run, Anderson resists the temptation to slam in another short ball but the yorker doesn't work either as Kumar stands still and works this to square leg

Anderson to Kumar, FOUR, wow, what a shot from Kumar to finish Anderson's over. Full ball swinging away but Kumar leant forward and flicked his wrists with a Sachin-like flourish, pinging it to the midwicket fence

India 272/7   P Kumar 15* (10b 2x4)

Tremlett to Kumar, 1 run, dug in short and around the hip, Kumar tucked it away merrily to leave India one away. Dravid, meanwhile, needs seven to reach a fantastic hundred

India 274/7   P Kumar 16* (11b 2x4)

Broad to Kumar, 1 run, follow on avoided, and fittingly it's Kumar who does it. He's been a great lark this innings and transformed the moment of danger with some almighty thwacking

Broad to Kumar, OUT, Broad ends the fun! Suspected he would. Sharp bouncer hurries on to Kumar who gets in no position to hook and top-edges high over his head where Strauss runs back to take the catch

P Kumar c Strauss b Broad 17 (26m 13b 2x4 0x6) SR: 130.76

India 276/8   P Kumar 17 (13b 2x4)
