7 - Ishant Sharma's wicket haul in England's second innings, his best in Test cricket - his previous best had been 6 for 51 earlier this year in Wellington. Ishant's 7 for 74 were the fourth-best figures by an India seamer in an overseas Test, and the best by an India bowler - pace or spin - in England. Ishant's figures were also the fifth-best by an overseas bowler at Lord's and the best by a bowler from the subcontinent.
25 - The number of wickets that Ishant has taken in his last four Tests, at an average of 26.48 and strike rate of 45.8, with three five-wicket hauls. Before that tour to New Zealand, he had three five-fors in 53 Tests, at an average of 38.81 and a strike rate of 69.7.
2 - The number of India seamers who took six or more wickets in this Test - Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 6 for 82 in the first innings, while Ishant followed up with seven in the second, making it the first instance of two India seamers taking six or more wickets in the same Test.
6 - The number of instances of India seamers taking five-fors in the fourth innings of a Test. Ishant's figures are the best among the lot; the previous best by an India seamer in the fourth innings was Javagal Srinath's 6 for 21 against South Africa in Ahmedabad in 1996.
591 - Joe Root's aggregate in eight Test innings at Lord's - he averages 84.42 at the ground, with two hundreds and two fifties. At all other Test venues, he averages 35.67, with two hundreds and three fifties in 28 innings.
1.80 - Ben Stokes' batting average in his last ten international innings - he has scored 18 runs in them, with six ducks, and a highest score of 5.
54 - The number of byes in the match, which is the highest at a Lord's Test; the previous-highest was 50, in a Test which started exactly 121 years ago, on July 17, 1893. The highest in any Test is 69, in the India-Pakistan match in Bangalore in 2007.
15 - Number of overseas Tests in a row that had ended in defeat or draws for India. Their last overseas victory was in Jamaica in June 2011, since which they had lost ten and drawn five.
10 - Number of consecutive Tests that England have failed to win. Their last victory was in the fourth Test of the 2013 Ashes series at Chester-le-Street. Since then they have lost seven and drawn three Tests.
10 - The number of Tests, out of the last 11 which have ended decisively at Lord's, which have been won by the team that batted first. The only exception was West Indies' defeat by five wickets in 2012.
2 - The number of defeats for England out of the last 12 they've played at Lord's - the only other loss during this period was against South Africa in 2012, when they were set a fourth-innings target of 346, and lost by 51 runs. India's record improved to 2-11, with their only other win here coming in 1986.
