As long as sehwag plays well , I say IPL is hit, if he don't play well , IPL is a bust. I am sehwgolosit.

@vrn59 so Yuvraj career is over ? I thought 4-5 months are decent for a comeback.

A fantastic point has been brought up by Harsha Bhogle on the Indian squad that will be sent to play the T20 World Cup this year. The batting is set, with the likes of Gambhir, Sehwag, Rahane, Kohli, RG Sharma, Raina, Tiwary and Dhoni, with the backup keeper being Uthappa, or maybe Saha. The bowling looks scary though. Zaheer is not really a great T20 bowler but I guess he'll be playing anyway, cos he's still the best India's got. I Pathan and Yadav have been doing ok, and Varun Aaron is now fit... so there are some options there... And there's also V Kumar. P Kumar probably won't make it due to lack of form... I think Harbhajan should be brought back as he is experienced and is performing decently... Ashwin is in bad form and Rahul Sharma also seems to have vanished off the scene... Jadeja and Y Pathan are useless... Quite a headache for the Indian selectors!

Absolutely not. This IPL only has two teams with unknown domestic players - RR and KXIP, while most teams like DD, MI, RCB, KKR, and to some extent CSK rely almost completely on foreign players or Indian international players. Where is the promoting of talent? And, seriously, captains like Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh?? The first two editions when tactical captains like Warne, Dhoni, Gilchrist were at their best were the best. And, remember the domestic talent that was showcased in those editions?
