As understudy to the consistent James Tredwell, offspinner Adam Riley has had only limited opportunities since making his first-team debut in 2011. Five Championship matches in 2012 yielded five wickets, at 46 runs apiece, and he barely figured in the limited-overs games but, with Tredwell appearing more regularly for England, extra chances may come the way of this 6ft 2in slow bowler.
