Dernbach to Smith, OUT, gone! Full and straight, catches Smith on the crease. Unless there was an edge that was dead

DR Smith lbw b Dernbach 11 (13m 12b 2x4 0x6) SR: 91.66

West Indies 18/1   J Charles 7* (10b 1x4)   JW Dernbach 0.4-0-4-1

Patel to Bascombe, OUT, gone! Patel strikes, good work from bowler and captain. Just looked a straight ball that the batsman shuffled across to and missed. Not stone dead, but clipping leg

MC Bascombe lbw b Patel 3 (7m 7b 0x4 0x6) SR: 42.85

West Indies 24/2   J Charles 7* (13b 1x4)   SR Patel 1.2-0-6-1

Borthwick to Charles, OUT, gone! Lovely bowling from Borthwick. Think it might have been the googly and Charles plays all around it. Indeed, it was the wrong 'un. Nice to see.

J Charles b Borthwick 21 (31m 28b 1x4 1x6) SR: 75.00

West Indies 42/3   MN Samuels 4* (6b)   SG Borthwick 1.5-0-8-1

Patel to Barnwell, OUT, there we go, desperation eventually gets the better of Barnwell as a heave soars into the darkening sky and is superbly caught by Hales out in the deep! That was a really good effort. He was running round the midwicket boundary even as Stokes was charging across from long on, both men slid into position but Hales was under it to complete the catch

CD Barnwell c Hales b Patel 16 (21m 22b 0x4 0x6) SR: 72.72

West Indies 64/4   MN Samuels 10* (19b)   SR Patel 3.4-0-18-2
17.6

Bopara to Sammy, OUT, another good catch in the outfield, and West Indies stumble after a brief fightback. Bopara landed one full outside off and Sammy hammered the ball in the air down to long off, where Borthwick charged across to hold the chance. "There was some heat on that," guffaws Gnasher, and he's right, it was hit very hard, but not nearly far enough

DJG Sammy c Borthwick b Bopara 12 (11m 8b 0x4 1x6) SR: 150.00

West Indies 98/5   MN Samuels 32* (31b 3x4)   RS Bopara 3-0-25-1
