Henry Tilly was a fast-medium bowler who played intermittently for Middlesex between 1954 and 1961 and then until the early 1970s for Hertfordshire. His only full season were in 1958 and 1959 when he took 84 wickets in 33 matches. He retired at the end of 1961 to set up a sports shop.
