A powerful right-hand opening batsman, Kumar Sarna was born in New Delhi but plays his cricket in Victoria after his family moved to Australia when Sarna was two. He moved back to India for a few years before returning to Australia at the age of 12 and has since been part of Victoria's Under-15 and U-19 teams. Sarna won the Commonwealth Bank Future Star Award for 2006-07 and is part of the Australian squad for the U-19 World Cup in 2008.
