Keith Semple's right-handed batting was an important part of Guyana's middle order for many years. A successful tour with the West Indies A team resulted in his call-up to the senior squad in South Africa in 1998-99 for the ODI matches. His streaky batting and occasional bowling ability seem best suited for limited-over cricket, and a Test chance never came.
