Middle order bat. Kate has represented England at U-17 level and was a member of the winning European Cup team in Denmark, 1999 playing for England U-21's.
Kate is also an exceptional fielder, and took the Vodafone England Fielder of the Series Award following the Test and ODI matches against Australia this year (2001).
Kate has played women's cricket from the age of 11 and has played indoor cricket since 13. Kate plays indoor cricket for England, and played in the Indoor Cricket World Cup in South Africa last year where England finished 3rd.
A qualified teacher, Kate now works for Nottinghamshire CCC's Development Department promoting cricket in schools and clubs. Born 2nd August 1975.
