Profile

A left-arm medium-pace bowler, Laura Spragg made her England debut against India in 2002, aged XX. She took a wicket, as well as scoring 21 in a 9th wicket partnership of 45. Spragg also took 2-31 in the ODI Final against New Zealand at Chester-le-Street, and has represented England at U19 and U17 level, playing in two European Cup tournaments. Part of the Yorkshire team, she has also played for Leeds/Bradford UCCE while studying for a BA (Hons) in Physical Education. Laura began playing cricket aged 11 with Keighley U13 boys' team, and first played women's cricket with Yorkshire Under 15s, aged 12.
