Surrey County Cricket Club is delighted to announce that Ed Giddins has signed a two-year contract from 2001. Keith Medlycott has signed a four year contract with the county champions to continue as Cricket Manager and all the Surrey players who were out of contract at the end of last season have agreed terms for 2001 and beyond.
Paul Sheldon Chief Executive of Surrey CCC stated:
"We are extremely pleased that Ed has chosen to join Surrey. He is a top class performer and will bring further strength in depth to our squad. Keith Medlycotts renewed commitment to continue the excellent job he has started is a great boost to us as successive County Champions in 1999 and 2000. These developments demonstrate our ambitions and our commitment to long term success both on and off the field."
