The England batsman Graham Thorpe was today ruled out of next week's 3rd npower Test Match against Australia at Trent Bridge with a cracked bone in his right hand.
Thorpe saw a specialist in Windsor today who confirmed that he has an undisplaced fracture in the metacarpal bone in his right hand.
The Surrey left-hander, who sustained the injury from a Brett Lee delivery during Saturday's play, will be out of cricket for around three weeks.
