Surrey County Cricket Club is mourning the loss of one of its great cricketers following the devastating news from Perth of Ben Hollioake's tragic death on Friday night.
The funeral will take place in Perth on Wednesday afternoon. Ten of the current Surrey squad have left to attend the service along with Keith Medlycott, the Cricket Manager, Michael Soper, Chairman of Surrey and Richard Thompson, Chairman of Cricket, will also represent the Club.
Following consultation with the family, it is the Club's intention to hold a Memorial Service for Ben. A date will be announced shortly. A book of condolence is available, round the clock, at the AMP Oval.
All those connected with Surrey County Cricket Club, and all those who were privileged to know Ben, will be wishing to send their heartfelt sympathy to Adam Hollioake and his family following their devastating loss.
