Hendrick returns to Derbyshire

Mike Hendrick, the former England seam bowler, has signed a two-year contract to return to Derbyshire, his first county, as their bowling coach.

Hendrick, who took 87 wickets in 30 Tests for England, will work fulltime with Derbyshire's professional staff and their academy players.

Hendrick, who's now 55, said: "It's very exciting to be back at the County Ground, where I enjoyed some wonderful times as a player. I will be doing my best to help the exciting young bowlers we have here achieve their full potential."
