Points Table

Derbyshire moved up to third place in the Division Two with a comprehensive victory over Yorkshire at Derby. The visitors were restricted to just 171, which represented somewhat of a recovery having collapsed to 66 for 7. Australian Jon Moss took 3 for 27. Derbyshire knocked off the required 172 runs with little trouble, with Hassan Adnan (57) and Luke Sutton (34) taking them home. There were an astonishing 43 extras conceded by Yorkshire, to make the home side's job even easier.

Warwickshire cruised past Surrey with a convincing 68-run victory at Edgbaston, thanks to a century from Jonathan Trott. Trott and Jim Troughton (82) forged a 144-run partnership, with Trott reaching his century from 109 balls, as Warwickshire compiled an imposing total of 292. In reply, Surrey lost wickets regularly with James Anyon and Alex Loudon both picking up three a piece to bowl the visitors out for 224.
