Darren Gough has admitted that he is "95% certain" that the coming season will be his last in first-class cricket.

Currently on a gruelling 39-show tour of the hit TV series Strictly Come Dancing, Gough told The Times that while he was fitter than he had been for ages, he was not likely to extend his two-year contract with Yorkshire when it finishes at the end of 2008.

Gough's media profile has rocketed following his success on the show, and he is likely to move into television. However, unlike Phil Tufnell, who won ITV's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, he is not going to go down the reality TV route. "That just isn't me," he told the paper. "I'm always up for a challenge, but eating a kangaroo's bits is no way to prove yourself."
