Lionel Baker's deal with Leicestershire has fallen through after he was selected for West Indies' squad to play Pakistan in Abu Dhabi.
Baker, the 24-year-old quick bowler, was signed on the basis of his British passport but his subsequent international selection means he is no longer eligible as a local player.
Baker went to school in Hackney, but has played for West Indies Under-19s and the Leeward Islands. He was also part of the Stanford Superstars squad but didn't play in any of the matches.
