Thank you George Dobell for your comparison between Cricket and Football. I totally agree, the Samuels/Warne incident was disgusting and we really don't want this kind of stuff which is regularly seen on football pitches creeping into the wonderful game of cricket.

Around ten years ago I made a decision to stop following football and concentrate on cricket as my sporting interest. This was partly because of all the unsavoury incidents on football pitches and on the terraces, the game of football had generally made me feel sick.

It was the best decision I ever made, but I really hope cricket is not going the same way, someone of Warne's experience should know better, just can't help but think he was playing up to the cameras and wanting more limelight, which sounds ridiculous considering he was the best bowler in my view to have ever played the game.

Would love to hear more of George's views on this subject.
