3.4 to Mohammad Hafeez, Southee has outdone Hafeez with a lovely bit of bowling here. Out-thought and outdone. After getting the previous ball to nip in, he gets this one to dart away from just outside off. Perfect length too, Hafeez stayed on the back foot and tentatively dangled the bat at it, mostly in hope. It took the edge and nestled in McCullum's gloves.. 7/1
7.1 to Kamran Akmal, Kamran combusts. Southee has kept testing them from a length outside off, getting them to move away from the right handers. Kamran has another flash at it, but the movement took it away from the middle. He was going uppish with this, so Ryder was always in business at point. He moved quickly to the left to complete a tumbling take, as graceful as his frame would allow him to be.. 22/2
9.4 to Asad Shafiq, see you later Asad Shafiq. Having snared two with the away swing, he's now got one with the inducker. Shafiq was not reading the movement at all, and has been made to look out of his depth in his short stay. He came forward and across in hope this time and played all around it. Rapped in front of middle, and despite the angle, umpire Saheba reckons that was crashing into the furniture. Replays are in, that actually hit him well high on the pads. Might have been a rough call.. 29/3
27.4 to Shahid Afridi, Southee takes Afridi out. Not with movement now, but with a little extra bounce and steady unrelenting lengths. This got slightly big on Afridi who looked to steer through the off side. Slightly reminiscent of Umar Akmal's dismissal, except that this went a little finer. Brendon McCullum leaps across and gobbles it mid-air. 200 ODI catches for him.. 88/6
37.3 to Misbah-ul-Haq, five for Southee! Misbah looks bemused. Even mildly amused. He breaks into a wry smile. This is why: It was an offcutter at 133 kph. Misbah spotted the variation and moved across the stumps to look for the tickle to the leg side. It missed the bat, and hit the bottom on his thigh pad, en route to the stumps. It may have hit the stumps in any case. Misbah is distraught. He was looking to whimper this score closer to 150. Pakistan have almost nothing to defend here.. 124/10

29.5 to Abdul Razzaq, Brendon McCullum continues to do well in this extended catching practice session. Razzaq this time, gets half forward, and hangs an angled bat miles away from his body. It takes the edge, loops away to McCullum's right and he pounces on it with glee. Pakistan continue to collapse.... 96/7
29.6 to Abdur Rehman, on a hat-trick for the second time in the day. This time Oram. And McCullum. Another bit of catching practice, this time to McCullum's left. Abdul Rehman gets a better delivery than Razzaq did - he had to play at it as it angled across close to his body. Thicker edge that before, this one makes McCullum dive across and he takes it nearly in front of the first slip. McCullum completes a five-for.. 96/8

19.3 to Younis Khan, oh no, I seem to have put the commentator's curse on Younis. 136 kph, back of a length delivery, it seemed to hurry onto Younis who was late on a forcing shot off the back foot. It took a thin outside edge through to McCullum. He was probably better off defending it. Surely seemed like he misread the pace on that one.. 57/4
19.4 to Umar Akmal, Bennett is on a hat-trick and Pakistan are deep in trouble now. Nothing shot from Umar Akmal, first ball. That was short of a length outside off, did not do too much off the track compared to what we have seen today. He could have let that go easily, but chose to dangle a hopelessly angled face of the bat well away from the body at it. Nicked and it carries through to the left of second slip who takes a nice tumbling catch. Umar Akmal is done in by poor shot selection, as much as by the bounce. 57/5
33.6 to Sohail Tanvir, nine down. Jesse Ryder gets catching practice now. Full delivery, landed invitingly outside off stump, Tanvir walks into a square drive and fails to keep it down. Straight to Ryder who takes it without a problem. 106/9

9.6 to JD Ryder, did that carry? Looks like it just might have. Ryder gets a full ball on middle and leg, gets inside the line and times the flick-pull so well that it carries to Asad Shafiq close to the boundary at midwicket. Pakistan have something to celebrate.. 84/1
