Profile

Allrounder Vince Broderick was a middle-order batsman and left-arm spinner who was a stalwart for Northamptonshire in the post-war years and one of a dwindling number of those who had played first-class cricket before the war, making his debut in August 1939 as many regulars left to join the forces. When cricket resumed he made one appearance in 1946 but from then to his retirement at the end of 1957 was an ever present.
