4.2 to BB McCullum, oh what a catch. The West Indies captain has risen to the occasion. This is almost like Kapil Dev running back to catch Viv Richards in the 1983 final. McCullum looks to hit this full ball over mid-off, the bat face opens in the hand, he ends up slicing it towards a very straight deep cover. Holder, guilty of a lazy chase already, goes for this. he runs hard with the eyes on the ball, he watches it drop over his shoulder, he sticks out those big levers, and he holds on to this. This is an absolute stunner. Ought to wake the side up. 27/1
46.3 to GD Elliott, he has moved too far across to try to slog this into the leg side. He misses, draws an lbw appeal, and he has been given out lbw. They have a discussion, and then review the call. He is hit on the back leg. There is no inside edge involved here. Full, angling in, the impact is line, and he is gone. It is a tactical review gambling on the impact, but it has hit him inside the line. 333/5
48.4 to L Ronchi, full and straight, nearly a yorker, he manages to go deep into the crease to make sure he makes a clean collection, but that finds square leg on the circle. 365/6

15.6 to KS Williamson, and against the run of the play, a soft dismissal, that too from Williamson. This is short, this is wide, doesn't look like a slower ball, but it has stopped at him. You can tell from how he ends up playing it well in front of his body. So he fails to control it, and offers a catch to short cover where Gayle takes it on the second attempt. This doesn't look like a slower ball except for the fact that it is bowled cross-seam. 89/2
43.2 to CJ Anderson, slightly off pace by Russell. Yes it is a slower ball. At 123ks. Anderson shuffles across to pull this shortish ball over midwicket, but gets zero timing. Caught at midwicket off the toe end. 278/4

25.1 to AD Russell, full and straight. You miss, I hit. Russell looks to clear the front leg and slog this over midwicket. Southee hits the top of off as he misses it. 201/8
27.6 to JE Taylor, they are checking if this is a bump ball. This is a yorker, dipping at Taylor's toes. Just dipping enough to land before his bat, and then hits the toe of the bat to chip to short midwicket. Clean catch. One more wicket for Southee. 221/9
1034444.40443320
1.2 to J Charles, this is the lowest-percentage shot you will see an opener try. Boult is swinging it back, he is an accurate bowler, but Charles makes room to show him all three stumps. He is slow to come down on it, and the off stump is uprooted. 4/1
5.3 to LMP Simmons, Boult has two. This kind of hitting is too difficult to sustain. Full outside off, Simmons looks to go over cover, the angle takes the ball away, takes a thick edge, and Guptill snares it at second slip. Boult one behind Starc now. 27/2
9.1 to MN Samuels, Dan the old Man. Whoa. Cool as. The crowd is on its feet. This is so beautiful to watch. The whole New Zealand team has surrounded Vettori. Surely the whole Cake Tin wants to do the same. Samuels has upper-cut this, Vettori is stationed at the deep point/very square third man boundary, the ball seems like it will beat him, but he has executed the leap to perfection, and has pulled this off one-handed. This is a magic moment if ever there was one.He has jumped really high, and has taken it behind his body. They are throwing orange shorts at him from the crowd. 80/3
9.5 to D Ramdin, and he is now the leading wicket-taker this World Cup. The Cake Tin erupts again. Length ball, angling in, Ramdin has defended down the wrong line, the ball has hit him dead plumb. So plumb is this it almost rips the pad off his leg to actually try to hit the stumps. As the old saying goes, if you were to get any plumber, you'd be working with water connections. 80/4
6.305828.92122500
22.3 to JL Carter, and what a change of pace. This has been fired in. A yorker. A quick dipping one. He has dragged it on from outside off. Off stump gone. Carter is shocked. He is wondering if he has hit it or if it has hit a foot hole and changed its direction. This is bowled at 97ks, by the way. 173/7
30.3 to JO Holder, Holder makes room again and drives hard again, but straight down long-off's throat. This sends New Zealand into the semi-final. Comprehensive win. 250/10
4042110.5086120
16.1 to CH Gayle, Milne's pace. raw pace. Sends Gayle back. This is excellent cricket. Just sheer raw pace. On a length, pretty quick, it's 149.1ks, Gayle is late into the big booming drive, and inside edge hits the stumps. What a valiant big-man-on-the-burning deck effort by the limping Gayle here. Some very clean hitting, but also he had nothing to lose so that mind have freed his mind a little. 120/5
2024112.0052210
21.1 to DJG Sammy, and the golden arm strikes second ball. Anderson has a knack. Sammy gives him the charge, Anderson stays short, Sammy gets a big top edge towards gully, and Ronchi calls for it and gets under it and takes it. 166/6
