Bill Higginson was a middle-order batsmen who played three game for Middlesex in 1960 with no real success. He also appeared in a pre-season one-day match for Nottinghamshire in 1965. He umpired extensively on the schools and Minor Counties circuit. He played for Kenya where he was the MCC coach to East Africa and also coached at several schools and well as organizing tours abroad. He ran an outdoor pursuits centre in Wales and then became the ECB's cricket development officer for Wales.
