Cameron Glass represented Eastern Downs in Schaefer Shield in each season from 1999-00; South Queensland Under 19 in the Platypus Shield in 1999-00; South Queensland in the Country Cup in 2001-02 and in 2002-03, and against Victoria Institute of Sport in 2002-03. He made his first appearance in the National Country Championships at Warrnambool in 2001-02 and after a successful series was selected as the reserve bowler for the Australia Country team. He was a member of the Regional Queensland Academy of Sport Squad for 2002. His club cricket is for Brothers-Diggers in Toowoomba. The son of a policeman subject to transfer he was educated at several schools in Queensland, namely Ingham State, Thargomindah State, Helidon State and at St Marys College in Toowoomba. He has completed his Bachelor of Education Primary, specializing in Physical Education. Brother Kristopher Nathan Glass represented Queensland Primary Schools at cricket in 2000-01 and has appeared for Queensland in junior hockey. Another brother, Aaron Matthew Glass represented Queensland at hockey in the Under 18 age group and was selected as a reserve for the Australian team.
