Profile

Yet another of the one Test brigade, Swamy represented India against New Zealand in the first Test between the two countries. On the docile Fateh Maidan wicket, it was an uphill task for a new medium pacer and in the two innings he bowled 18 overs, finished with 0 for 45 and did not get a chance to bat. He did not play for the country again but represented the Services throughout the fifties and took 68 wickets (22.16) in his first class career.
