Don't know if this is the right place to comment but please improve the quality of your video player. It doesn't load videos properly, restarts the playback for no reason, and generally does an extremely poor job of playing videos.

Most of the times when i want to listen to something I head to the youtube page and watch the videos in hi definition without a glitch.

And whats with the hangouts thing. I am sure ESPN can do a much better job that this. (I know google is desperate to get its failed google+ experiment off the ground but I dont want to see my favorite Cricinfo to suffer because of that).

The weather for June in England is predicted to be the usual and not warm as it happens sometimes around Derby-Wimbledon time. That means Indians could be in for a struggle after the rosiness post Australians and now the IPL. It could well be like it was in 2011 in July.My opinion on the team is that it is alright except for Vijay being there. Rahane should have gone instead. He played quite well when he was in England in 2011 for the ODIs. Vijay ,like Pujara should be kept only for the Tests. He had developed some flaws in his technique by playing in the 20/20s which he seems to have ironed out.If the weather turns hot like it was in the first half of the summer of 2011 I am sure Mishra will make an impact if he plays at all. Dhoni does not seem too much in his favour though.I would have liked one of either Shami or Mohit Sharma to be there too. They have the right temperament as we have seen. Also they are used to cold conditions and will not be shivering instead of bowling in England.

selection as been fairly good, u can't give a chance to person who is not deal with outside off balls and again in conditions like england u want gambhir to be send there, rohit sharma has opened the innings in the previous odi may be selectors are seeing him has a opener ,rather than a middle order batsman .selection has been good and has u said it was on the terms of domestic performance and potential of the players. And i personally feel sandeep patil team has done a good job .

Yuvraj should have been selected in place of one of the spinners. Team is definitely going to miss YuvrajSing's all-round skills and experience.

In batting i m not sure what choices were available but if i was the selector, we should have dropped rohit and murali and chosen pujara and yuvraj instead. Open with kartik and shikhar & use pujara/yuvraj in the middle order. or use pujara as opener along with kartik. with the bowling, praveen kumar and shami should have come in place of ishant and umesh. other than that i guess not certain what mishra is doing in the team but hes unlikely to play.

Aakash Chopra said that during 2011 ODI Series against ENG....... in English Conditions......... RAHANE scored a 90........ Yes there was a score of 90....... But that was scored by SURESH RAINA....... not RAHANE....... but there's nothing new in that....... people often Ignore RAINA's contribution....... RAHANE's 90 came against ENG...... But that was in Indian conditions....... GAMBHIR & YUVRAJ not being selected..... is a Big Risk taken by selectors...... keeping in mind the English conditions......... How many more chances will Rohit Sharma & Ishant Sharma get ????

I think if we have to build a team for the 2015 World Cup, which should clearly be the objective, Zak, Viru, Gambhir, Harbhajan and Yuvraj don't figure in it. And they did win us the 2011 WC collectively. We need to look ahead and thank them for their efforts. Vijay and Dhawan are clearly the ones that deserve to get a chance of playing in overseas condition and to prove their capabilities. Only Rahane who should be in the mix for 2015 misses out as he has not really grabbed the meagre chances that have come his way... Sometimes I feel Sharda and the gang at Cricinfo need to criticize the selectors and BCCI come what may!

I feel that the squad is good - question marks - vijay - probably picked for right and left combo at top - hence gauti got dropped - praveen kumar - probably not picked as very similar to bhuvi - hence vinay kumar gets on board...
