@CRICFAN80701714: reminder that pakistan holds clear advantage in head to head and you didnt see cheap theatrics from pakistan in 1990's when india was generally considered weaker than Pakistan. Also, it is not fluke not luck or a freak of nature like indian fans are making it out to be. Pakistan beat England, India, SouthAfrica..3 of the 4 teams (5 if you consider NZ) considered so called "top tier" what a joke in my opinion, to reach the final and win. I said it before i will say it again..the point system needs to be reviewed especially in regard to points awarded to teams in beating visitors...their value should not be the same as visitors beating hosts.

@ CRICFAN80701714 its not one victory, besides Sharja drubbing many times the Nehru cup, the Pepsi cup, 5-1 and another 2 series in India, Singer Cup in Singapore, Asia cup 2014, two series in Canada, 2 previous CTs matches over all 72-52 in favor of Pakistan. Get a life

Congratulations to Pakistan on a remarkable victory. West Indies and Pakistan are teams that I have always liked apart from Sri Lanka as a cricket fan. Sad that the ICC has not selected West Indies to play in this tournament since they were ranked no 9. But Pakistan showed that the rankings are irrelevant when it comes to World tournaments being the number 08 team on rankings.

Congratulations Pakistan. They have raw talent like no other country and unpredictability like no other as well. Pakistan cricket and their people needed this. World cricket also needs a strong Pakistan.

Unbelievable performance from Pakistan. Being a Pakistani, proud to be Pakistani. I really liked the way Virat Kohli expressed and appreciated the talent and efforts of Pak team. Similarly, at least Sarfaraz should have spoken a bit of appreciation for the Indian Team, as they perform outclass throughout the tournament. I believe Indian is still the best team with quality players. Simply, yesterday wasn't their day.
