Profile

Dekker Curry was a fine attacking left-hand bat who on his day was a devastating strokemaker, but his unwillingness to defend often proved his undoing. In one-day games his style was particularly effective when sent in to open the innings, as best shown when his quickfire 75 was instrumental in Ireland's 1997 B&H Cup defeat of Middlesex. In addition to his batting, he is a good offspinner who could restrict opposing batsmen. He was also an excellent fielder.
