Namibia's U-19 coach, Doug Walton, has said the 15 players selected for the World Cup in Australia were chosen with one objective: "qualifying for the super eights"

Namibia's Under-19 coach, Doug Walton, has said that the 15 players selected for the World Cup in Australia were chosen with one objective: "qualifying for the super eights".
Namibia were the qualifiers from the Africa region and have been pooled with Sri Lanka, South Africa and Bangladesh in Group D. The top two teams from each group make it to the knockouts.
"It's an exciting squad … " Walton said. "We have guys that can play different roles for us and that will be crucial at certain times."
Namibia are scheduled to play two practice matches, against West Indies and Zimbabwe, before the start of the tournament.
